From managing raw materials and packaging, to placement of products on the shelves, FARCOM PROFESSIONAL meets all the legal and safety standards.  FARCOM PROFESSIONAL is committed to high-quality standards and ethical practices and has obtained two international cosmetics code certifications (GMP ISO 22716:2007 and ISO 9001). 

In the context of sustainable growth, FARCOM PROFESSIONAL has acquired RSPO certification regarding the controlled use of palm oil across its product range, and ISCC certification pertaining to sustainable production and the use of biomass.

Furthermore, the company works with certified FSC packaging material suppliers, so as to contribute towards responsible forest management, showing respect for the environment. Products are environmentally friendly, packaged in recyclable materials, and don’t contain parabens.

FARCOM PROFESSIONAL does not test its products on animals, nor does it commission third parties to carry out animal tests to check their safety, effectiveness or environmental impact. We apply alternative methods to ensure the above, choosing sophisticated tests with the in vitro method as well as studies with volunteers.

Thus, we are fully in line with the regulations of the Legislation (EC 1223/2009), which prohibits the testing of cosmetic products on animals since July/2013 and which is fully aligned with our values ​​and philosophy from the beginning of our operation until today.

Since its establishment, FARCOM PROFESSIONAL has operated in accordance with strict requirements of the Hellenic National Organisation for Medicines (EOF) and European legislation. FARCOM PROFESSIONAL is one of the first in the industry to have been certified in accordance with ISO 22716 for Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP). 

Furthermore, the company has been observing a Quality Assurance system since 2001 and is certified with the latest edition of ISO 9001:2015 international standard for quality.

FARCOM PROFESSIONAL has also taken all necessary measures to protect the environment and reduce its carbon footprint. In the context of sustainable growth, the company has managed to obtain an RSPO certification in regards to the controlled use of palm oil in their   products.

The company proactively chooses to work with FSC-certified packaging material suppliers in relation to responsible forest management.

The FARCOM PROFESSIONAL headquarters are housed and located at its company-owned facilities in Thessaloniki, Greece, totalling an area of 57,000sqm. The company’s modern infrastructure is considered one of the most advanced across Europe. 

The company’s second production unit was completed in 2021, amounting to 10 million Euros. 

Consistent with FARCOM PROFESSIONAL’s long tradition of technological advancement, the new plant is equipped with clean rooms along with state-of-the-art automatic production equipment. The company’s investment includes new production containers, increasing production capacity by 60 percent, as well as an automated cosmetic doypack packaging line.

FARCOM PROFESSIONAL has a modern Quality Control laboratory staffed by a team of experienced chemists, chemical engineers and biologists. In addition, FARCOM PROFESSIONAL has a fully specialised R&D Department, a team responsible for the development of the company’s innovative products and future lines.

Furthermore, the company houses an onsite microbiology lab that  carries out the necessary controls of raw materials delivered throughout all intermediary stages of production and end-products. This is implemented prior to distribution, ensuring the utmost of safety and quality. 

Special emphasis is placed on the Quality Control of the water used for the production of company products. The water is processed using an advanced Reverse Osmosis system, as well as an additional Deionising system under continuous physico-chemical and microbiological monitoring.
