How did FARCOM PROFESSIONAL start?

It was a combined spirit of innovation and social responsibility that infused the launch of FARCOM PROFESSIONAL. What began as a small family-owned enterprise in 1970 has since exploded into a global Greek-based production powerhouse. Their modern-day facilities are now a multiplex of world-class state of the art manufacturing, professional education, along with ongoing research and development.

All products are developed, manufactured, and packaged in house in Greece. All waste is managed in an eco-friendly manner within titanic 10- and 31 square kilometre manufacturing hubs. FARCOM PROFESSIONAL produces over 3500 SKUs, 13.5 million hair colours, and 60 million products annually, in order to meet ever-growing international demand, without ever compromising on product quality or the environment.

For this impressive production capacity, FARCOM PROFESSIONAL was awarded in 2021 with โ€˜Greeceโ€™s Leading Outward-Looking Export Enterpriseโ€™ and bestowed the โ€˜Diamond of the Greek Economyโ€™ Award for 2019, 2020, and 2021.

From its inception, FARCOM PROFESSIONAL has operated under the strictest international quality standards, certified with two international cosmetics codes (GMP ISO 22716:2007 and ISO 9001). Per EU legislation, all products are environmentally friendly, packaged in recyclable materials, free from parabens and completely cruelty-free. FARCOM PROFESSIONAL doesnโ€™t test any of their products on animals and are completely compliant (EC 1223/2009). Taking their ethical stance one step further, all other raw materials used in FARCOM PROFESSIONALโ€™S range and sourced globally, are also cruelty-free.ย 

As for the environment, FARCOM PROFESSIONAL has aligned their strategy with proactive ways in which they can continue to reduce their carbon footprint and acquired RSPO certification regarding the controlled use of palm oil across their product range.

FARCOM PROFESSIONAL also employs rigorous inspections ( ISO;2215* )ย  and quality control checks in all phases of production so that consumers and Salons alike can rest assured that each product has been crafted with utmost commitment and care.

In house, FARCOM PROFESSIONAL embraces the mark of eternity by championing gender, racial, and cultural equality, as well as providing ongoing training for the next generation of Hairdressers in their Industry-leading Academy. Affiliated clients, partners, and stylists from around the world are regularly invited to host events at FARCOM PROFESSIONALโ€™S Academy, while in labs, engineers and scientists pioneer new products and formulas from raw ingredients.ย
